German DX Foundation (GDXF) celebrates its 30th anniversary in 2026. To mark the occasion, a temporary award has been launched “30 Years GDXF”, for which contacts made from July 1 to September 30, 2026.
Eligible QSOs are those made on bands from 160 to 6 meters, including the 60 m band. Three main emission categories are allowed: CW, Phone, and Digital.
A contact with a German DX Foundation member earns 10 points, while QSOs with the special stations DQ30GDXF or DF0GDX are worth 20 points. Importantly, making at least one contact with DQ30GDXF or DF0GDX is a mandatory requirement for obtaining the award.
The organizer has prepared three award levels: BASIC – 100 points, CLASSIC – 500 points, and TROPHY – 1,000 points. Applications are handled exclusively through the DCL/DARC system.
For special-call hunters and operators interested in DX, September is therefore the last month in which they can collect the points needed for the GDXF anniversary award.
