A diploma event has been organized to mark the occasion of the 650th anniversary of the founding of Lubatowa. Its main callsign is HF650LLL, and the activity will run from June 21 to September 23, 2026. The event organizer is Wojciech Jakieła SQ8W.
The event refers to the history of Lubatowa, which dates back to 1376. According to the organizer, a charter granting founding rights was signed in Sanok at that time, under which Duke Władysław Opolczyk entrusted Stanisław Thoka with establishing a settlement along the Schowa and Lubachowa streams.
HF650LLL may be activated on many bands—from 80 m to 70 cm, as well as via the satellite QO-100. The rules list the SSB, FM, FT8, FT4, FT2, PSK31, PSK63, RTTY, and C4FM modes.
Three diploma variants have been prepared. Operators in Poland must earn a minimum of 50 points, European stations 25 points, and DX stations outside Europe 5 points. In all cases, a contact with the station HF650LLL.
For a basic QSO with HF650LLL, 10 points are awarded, and the system provides additional multipliers depending on the band and mode used. Logs are handled by the RadioDyplom.pl platform. The organizer also states that they are to be uploaded to QRZ.com, LoTW, and ClubLog.
