The event announcement carries the telling subtitle „a fool with a tool is still a fool”. The meeting is intended to demonstrate that merely possessing advanced software or an instrument does not replace understanding the phenomena occurring in an antenna system. The program includes demonstrations presented from the perspective of a software engineer and a university professor.
The organizer is HB9AG, namely the Aargau section of the Swiss amateur-radio association USKA. The club's technical activities include, among other things, antennas, homebrew projects, repeaters, and field operations.
