The official website KH8WW provides for activity on all HF bands from 160 to 6 meters. The operators plan to use split-frequency operation. The published operating guidelines concern contacts on CW, SSB, and FT8. Frequencies may be changed depending on local interference, noise levels, and the activity of other DX expeditions.
The expedition equipment includes transceivers Elecraft K3, SunSDR2 PRO, and Yaesu FT-891, as well as SPE Expert 1.3K-FA and Juma PA1000 amplifiers. For operation on the lower bands, the equipment includes, among other things, a vertical antenna for 160/80/40/30 m and Beverage receive antennas. A Spiderbeam will be used on the higher bands, while a five-element Yagi antenna is planned for 6 meters.
Log and QSL card management is handled through Club Log OQRS. The complete log is to be uploaded to LoTW six months after the expedition ends. Paper cards can be ordered via OQRS or directly from the QSL manager YL2GN; free shipping through the QSL bureau is also available after placing an order via OQRS.
