This Saturday 12 September 2026 the ninth round will take place 2026 Lublin VHF Marathon. The contest is organized by the Lublin PZK Branch and is intended to increase activity among individual and club stations on the 2-meter band and to develop operating and technical skills.
The September round will run from 16:00 to 16:59 UTC. The contest is conducted using FM on the 2-meter band, in the range 145.225–145.575 MHz and exclusively on simplex channels. Contacts made via repeaters do not count.
Licensed individual and club stations from Poland and other countries, as well as SWLs, may participate. Operators exchange an RS report, the consecutive QSO number, and the station's full locator.
Scoring is based on the actual distance between stations— one kilometer equals one point. A contact with a station located in the same locator square is worth 3 points. The annual standings include each participant's nine best rounds.
The Cabrillo log must be submitted within 72 hours of the end of the respective round, preferably via the LogSP platform.
