The Polish Amateur Radio Union is pleased to announce that Krzysztof SP5E has taken office as President. This is a great honor and responsibility for him. Krzysztof sincerely thanks all the Delegates for their involvement in recent weeks, which have been a period of intensive discussions and consultations regarding the future of the organization.
National Delegates’ Congress
The first National Delegates’ Congress was preceded by a series of open meetings, which enabled representatives of the Regional Branches to discuss key issues over a period of three weeks. Thanks to this active cooperation, it was possible to gain a better understanding of the needs and expectations of the amateur radio community.
Thanks to the Outgoing Board
Krzysztof SP5E expressed his gratitude to the members of the outgoing GKR for their invaluable work in recent years. Their efforts provide the new Presidium with a benchmark and inspiration for the future. He also thanked the outgoing PZK Presidium for its dedication and service to the organization.
Introducing the New Presidium
We are proud to present the new Presidium of the Governing Board of the Polish Amateur Radio Union:
- Wojciech SP3U - Treasurer
- Cezary SQ5CKZ - Secretary
- Tomasz SQ5T - Vice President for Organizational Affairs
- Marcin SP6MI - Vice President for Sport
- Dorota SQ3TGY - responsible for IT and digital transformation
- Jakub SP7Y - responsible for clubs and youth
- Tomasz SP5RT - responsible for innovation and PR
- Waldemar 3Z6AEF - responsible for publications and cultural heritage
A detailed description of the responsibilities of the individual Presidium members will be presented soon.
New Statutory Changes
Recent days have brought significant statutory changes that will directly affect the functioning of the Union. The most important include:
- Permitting remote meetings: This change applies not only to the Governing Board, the Presidium of the Governing Board and the Main Audit Committee, but also to general meetings of Regional Branches and Clubs. This will enable more flexible and cost-effective operations.
- Electronic document versions: Introducing electronic versions of documents will bring procedures in line with modern standards and make day-to-day work easier.
Although numerous, these changes were carefully prepared and adopted thanks to the commitment of the Statutory Committee and all participants in the discussions on the proposed amendments.
The Future and Dialogue
The coming weeks will be a period of intensive work for the new Presidium as it addresses the organizational aspects of taking over responsibilities from the outgoing board. A broader meeting is planned before the end of July to discuss the first steps and plans for the future.
The new board’s priority is openness and cooperation. It wants every member to have the opportunity to express their views on the future of PZK and amateur radio. Everyone is encouraged to take an active part in the life of the Union and share their ideas and experience.
Cooperation and Challenges
Krzysztof SP5E hopes that this term of office will be a time of constructive dialogue and cooperation. He looks forward to active cooperation with the Governing Board, the Main Audit Committee, Regional Branches and Clubs. Together, we can meet the challenges and make the most of the opportunities facing the Union.
