September 27 the nationwide amateur-radio award campaign ended „Oręż Września 1939”, held under the slogan „We Remember • We Connect • We Promote History”. The activity began on September 4 and was divided into four weekend stages.

The initiative was organized by the group SPDXN, while the campaign was administered electronically via the RadioDyplom platform. The program was designed so that successive stages highlighted various aspects of Poland's military effort during the 1939 campaign.

Participants could earn several different awards. The system included the following diplomas „Iron Shield”, „Wings over Poland”, „White-and-Red Fleet”, „THE VOICE that did not fall silent” and „Armored Forces ORLIK”. A separate award was also prepared for SWL listening stations.

The campaign covered a wide range of bands – from 160 meters to 70 centimeters – as well as many emission modes. Available operating modes included SSB, FM, FT8, FT4, and digital voice systems.

„Oręż Września 1939” was an example of using amateur radio not only to make contacts and earn diplomas, but also to commemorate historical events.
