Date and venue: The gathering will take place on 1 May 2024 in Łagów Lubuski, at 13 Kolonia Street. The site is located in locator square JO72pi, at coordinates 52°20.88′ N, 15°17.90′ E.
Attractions and facilities: PA and a performance by the 4 Grupa Biednych band will be provided on site. Participants will have access to space for tents and motorhomes, as well as parking. Utilities will also be available: water, toilets, and ~230 V and ~400 V power. SUP watercraft will be available for hire.
Gathering program:
- Traditional scrambled eggs made with 500 eggs and delicious bacon (1 May, 2:00 p.m.)
- Amateur-radio flea market – equipment vendors are welcome
- Presentations on radio communications and various operating techniques
- HF, VHF, UHF, and SHF antenna demonstrations
- Competitions with amateur-radio prizes (TRX transceivers)
- Lectures and presentations on DXing, contesting, Ham Spirit, and the opportunities for leisure and amateur-radio operation from Gambia, presented by Przemek C5SP
- Shooting competitions and other attractions
For amateur-radio operators: An HF/VHF station will be active from the gathering site (Łagowski Landscape Park, SPFF-0059), and operators are very welcome to join in.
