From 4–6 September 2026 this year’s SP DX Club convention took place in Międzybrodzie Bialskie. The meeting provided an opportunity to exchange experience, review contesting and DX activities, and talk face to face with fellow radio amateurs who are often separated by hundreds of kilometres in everyday life. The organizers also published an extensive photographic record of the event.

This year’s SP DX Club Convention took place from 4–6 September 2026 in Międzybrodzie Bialskie. The multi-day meeting combined the official programme with time for conversation, exchanging experience, and reunions after many years. As SP DX Club emphasizes, the participants share a passion for amateur radio and long-distance radio communication.

The official part of the convention began on Saturday, 5 September. The programme included updates from the SPDXC Secretariat and a review of SP-DX Contest 2026, branch competition, SP-DX Trophy 2025 and Intercontest 2025. Awards related to the competitions were also presented.

DXpedition topics were also discussed. SP1D presented the expedition Z66SP, while SP6EQZ presented the expedition 9U1RU. The programme also included a review of the participation of station SN0HQ in the 2026 IARU HF Championship, prepared by SP5ELA.

However, the meeting was about more than official presentations. The convention created an opportunity for operators to meet face to face, exchange experience, and talk with people whose callsigns and voices many participants know primarily from the airwaves. The organizers highlight this less formal side of the event—the time spent together, conversations, and opportunity to renew acquaintances.

On Saturday, the traditional group photograph of the participantswas also taken, and the convention concluded on Sunday, 6 September, after the morning meeting, open discussion, and the participants’ farewell.
