The next stage will begin October 5. Through October 11, HF10NCPS is expected to be active primarily on the 80-meter band. From October 12 to 18, operators will shift the main activity to 40 meters, from October 19 to 25 to 2 meters, and from October 26 to 31 to 70 centimeters.
The entire activity runs from August 17 to December 20, 2026. The rules provide for operation on 80, 40, and 20 m, as well as 2 m and 70 cm, using CW, SSB, and FM. Each confirmed contact with HF10NCPS is worth one point.
Additional distinctions have been prepared for the most active participants. Operators in the top three places will receive a diploma, a promotional package, and an invitation for themselves and one accompanying person to a private tour of the NCPS SOLARIS facilities. Places 4–20 will be awarded a paper diploma, while the remaining participants will be able to receive an electronic version.
The activity combines amateur radio with the popularization of Polish science. NCPS SOLARIS operates at Jagiellonian University in Kraków, and HF10NCPS is operated by station SN0SOLARIS operators associated with the facility.
